Transilience: A Trans Pride Festival

Eckhart Park (Noble Square)
This joyous celebration of trans, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming people of all ages and backgrounds. Better yet, it’s free for everyone to attend. Come out to witness art that pushes beyond any binary you could imagine including dance, drag, music, DJs, circus, puppeteering, standup and sketch comedy, live painting, flow arts, fashion exhibitions, and experimental performance art.

Black Alphabet Film Festival
October 16-18, 2026
The Black Alphabet Film Festival (BAFF) returns for its 2026 edition. Celebrate the voices of Black LGBTQ+ storytellers through film and storytelling.
On October 18th, join Gender Fucked Productions at the Jamii Center for Arts & Media as we close out the film festival with an afternoon dedicated to rest, reflection, and community. Together, we’ll explore rest as an important part of our creative and collective process an opportunity to pause, reconnect with ourselves and one another, set intentions, and reflect on what we’re carrying forward.

Exotic Erotic

A celebration of culture, community, and heritage through the freedom of burlesque, storytelling and performance art. This season of Exotic Erotic takes inspiration October observances like Dia de los muertos, Filipino heritage month, Hoodoo heritage month, Diwali, and Halloween. We encourage attendees to wear culturally to celebrate our traditions, community and ancestors. And we got a FIRE line up dressing up for yall!!

There are more ways than donation to support trans community in these times and we'd love to have you join our team to help us make They Beach, Burning the Binary, or any of our other community events possible!

Dates and times for volunteering are in the volunteer form through the link below. All volunteers can attend a virtual training to gain skills in de escalation, hosting community spaces, and non violent, trans informed police interaction to keep our people safe.

Transilience Artist/Vendor Interest Form 2026
This is the artist and vendor interest form for Trans Pride Festival Chicago. We have yet to secure dates but aim to have our second festival on the North, South, and West Sides of Chicago in July 2026.
All artists will be paid for their performances.
Any vendors selling works for profit will be required to pay a vendor fee to secure their spot. Community organizations, mutual aid groups, and other non profits can table for free.

GF Productions is hosting 3 days of Trans and Gender Non-Conforming performance art, music, and fun.
We welcome any and all performances, but please note this will be an all-ages event and we kindly request content warnings are provided upon submission.
