  • Queer Dance Freakout University

    We welcome you to Queer Dance Freakout University! Here at QDFU we prioritize an interdisciplinary approach in all subjects, meaning you’ll study similar themes no matter what department you’re in. Join a group of students transferring to QDFU and explore gender and identity from the lenses of Science, Literature, and History.

  • Trans Scribe A New Works Festival

    Now more than ever, trans art must be created, cultivated, and produced. That is why we are excited to announce our upcoming new works festival, Trans Scribe! This festival will feature new works written, composed, and directed by trans/nonbinary artists.

  • They Beach Summer 2025

    We’ve hit the 80 degree days and that means it’s time for the They’s!! (swipe to see our calendar for a summer trans beach days)

    Where: Hollywood Beach

    When: Saturday May 31st

    3:00 PM - sunset

    Pack your cute suits, and sunscreen for the shores of Lake Michigan. There will be fun music, friends and trans/nonbinary/polyamory flags marking our spot! They Beach will always be held next to the ramp and access boardwalk in front of the beach house so anyone can come enjoy the queer festivities. 

    They Beach only exists if you do. They Beach is a community movement that tranifests a safe, inclusive space for trans, enby, and queer folx to gather, connect, and have fun in the city. This can exist everywhere through collective action! (Shoutout to our sibling organization @theybeachdetroit ) Safe spaces are created actively, not passively. Be part of the movement by holding this safe trans space. That includes no tolerance for hate, misgendering, or any behavior that harms another. This is a gender diverse/gender queer space that is unwavering in the conviction that Black Trans Lives Matter. (Allys are welcome too, but please be mindful of the space you hold)

    We encourage the community to take care of one another! Watch out for your queer/trans fam! Bring an extra blanket or water bottle, share your sunscreen or shade, say hello to your neighbor.

    This is a public beach space open to anyone and everyone. Please respect your surroundings accordingly.

    Covid precautions:

    -please stay home if you feel sick in any way

    -we encourage everyone to test before they come

    -encourage masks (we will have masks available)

  • Nonprofit Bookkeeper Position Open

    Seeking proposals for a nonprofit bookkeeper who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing financial transactions, and assisting in the overall financial management of the organization. Your role will ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with relevant financial regulations. The ideal person has a strong background in bookkeeping, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for our mission of supporting trans artists at Gender Fucked Productions.

    This is a contract position, approximately 20 hours per month. Stipend of $100 per month. This is what the rest of senior leadership currently makes. Any raise in pay they receive, this position will as well.

    Priority Deadline to apply is May 16, 2025.
